i dont get why it 21.6
i thought you had to do pie times diameter then half it and add diameter again but that doesnt give 21.6?

It is 21.8.
You do pie x diameter and then half and then add the diameter again.

What you have said *does* give you 21.6 (specifically 21.59468915), so I don't know why you haven't got that answer.
