Hey,

First of all, thanks for considering DMU! Studying International Business at DMU would be a great choice.

On the International Business course you can take part in our exclusive Fox’s Lair competition, where you will have the opportunity to pitch a business idea to real-life entrepreneurs and win a great prize, much like BBC’s Dragon’s Den! You will have the option to enjoy remarkable international experiences through our #dmuglobal programme.

At DMU we place high emphasis on employability and as a result, 95% of our Business School graduates go onto further study or employment within 6 months of completing their course (latest Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey). We have a friendly and supportive placement team in the faculty who can help enhance your CV and prep you up for applying for jobs and interviews to help secure a placement in your third year. Students who have been on placements find them to be a valuable experience before graduating.

Our Business School placement and graduate destinations include companies like Waitrose, IBM, HP, ASOS, PepsiCo, VW, Walt Disney, Warner Bros and Google!

It might also be a good idea to come and visit us on one of our Open Days. Coming along, getting a feel for the campus and chatting to some of our academics and current students might be a great way to help you decide. We actually have an Open Day coming up on 1st July - you can book here: www.dmu.ac.uk/opendays

I hope this helps, if you have any further questions feel free to ask
