Advice?

I wasn't feeling well yesterday, to make matters worse, this morning i was awoken by a phone call from the police, it's procedure for them, about a mugging of mine 4 months ago. 7.30am in the bloody morning, nevermind. I can remember leaping out of my bed, getting to the phone and i immediately started feeling rather ill and my BP was a bit freaky. Then i fainted and 2-3 minutes later i regained my consciousness. Ambulance came and my readings came back as normal. Just been in bed this morning and have been to the toilet twice, sick on both occasions. Lovely  Needless to say, i'm feeling like ass right now, i've just had some soup for lunch and a hot chocolate and i'm rather wary of eating solids as such...

Anyone with recommendations as to what i can take, drink or eat?? My back and legs are feeling rather achey - but i'll put that down to the **** my body has gone through this morning, that and being sick also....

I think you need to seek medical advice - I'm not sure why you fainted. Maybe blood rushing to your head. It's good that you're eating though. Try only one slice of bread at a time. Sometimes being sick is a good thing as it get the toxins out of you, so don't try to repress it if you feel it coming.

You need to see your GP i think.

i fainted 4 months ago at work, i do have low BP and i think this contributes to me fainting. I did hit my knee on a metal object at work and that set things off then. I think my fainting today may be down to my diet, in that i may not be eating enough atm, consuming sufficient enough calories. I'm doing enough exercise, eating pretty well, but not taking in enough calories. I'm considering eating something, having a snack, before bed...just so my BP isn't low. This morning i leapt out of bed, to get to the telephone, this may have set off proceedings, combined with the stomach ache i've had for the last 24hrs. Went to A & E the last time i fainted, as i had rather bad shock and i thought i may have had a heart attack, didn't turn out to be the case and my readings in A & E came back fine, suggesting i was physically fit/healthy. It wasn't a case of nerves, like the medics suggested this morning, i guess the rush out of bed and to the phone did something to me. My legs and back have been terribly achey today :frown:
