long distance relationships

ive recently got back together with an ex after a holiday together but we live 4 hours apart. we are both on gap years and hope to do some traveling together but i am worried that the relationship will crumble while we are both working and busy.
anyone had any long distance relationships which actually worked ?

I have a friend who lives over 2 hours away from his Girlfriend and they have been together for 4 years, so in some instances yes. I go to UNI this september though and i have decided with my GF that we are prepared to try to make it work. However i think it will be very hard.

I've gotten back together with my ex, we're long-distance right now and for the next two months, it's tough but it works if you want it to

initially I was quite scared that things would go badly or that issues from when we ended it would cause problems, but after about 2 or so months back together everything smoothed itself out and it's been pretty good - I certainly don't regret getting back with my ex
