I got an email today saying I had made a purchase when I hadn't. I stupidly clicked on a link in order to look at my 'order details' as I thought someone had used my card or something. The link just said error and to open it on a desktop, could this cause harm to my laptop/ find my passwords??

Thanks

I strongly recommend you scan your computer for viruses or other malware as soon as possible.

These links are indeed a scam. Hopefully you didn't enter your password into any form..

People only believe they are good at security because they rarely get hacked. But the reason why they rarely get hacked is because not many people own them.
