why do guys on here keep claiming that women lie about personality being important?

I have seen this here so many times so here I am just wondering...why is that?
In real life I have never heard a women saying she only care about personality. Personality may be the most important thing but it's not the only thing we look for. Personality is only important when it comes to friendship but when it comes to a partner we also look for attraction, intelligence, financial stability.
But yet on here you get some guys saying "Don't let women lie to you they also care about looks and money"...Well what women doesn't?? Some care a lot more than others whilst some don't care at all. Guys have high standards when it comes to looks too but women don't complain. But on here guys complain about this all the time which confuses me too.

Guys that use a student forum regularly are more likely to not be a hit with the gals, and guys who aren't a hit have a high chance of getting bitter about it and end up deciding that their lack of success is the women's fault, thus all women are evil for having normal expectations.

I would say they have had negative experiences with women to do with this kind of thing IRL. Some women would lie about this stuff as well as men too. And not all guys have high standards, that is called generalising which makes you on the verge of becoming as bad as these men saying women lie about personality. (Just my opinion, but I would not complain it is not like you can do anything about others opinions, it is just how they are.) (I also don't get why people can't get along, always have to score points with the petty gender stereotypes.)

Because loads of the guys on here are creepy as ****.

No, I mean like guys call women shallow or having "high standards" for basic things for relationships.
Like wanting a guy you find at least a little bit attractive and having a decent income is too much for men.

Everyone has their preferences and standards. To really be in love you have to 100% experience it to know what it feels like. Once people have experienced it, Money and looks do not matter at all. (Looks may matter a small bit as some will fall in love with people because of looks as well as other things.)

I understand the difference, and it still applies that you're generalising about this stuff. People judge others all the time for having high standards. Just because you have not experienced it does not make it untrue. I have noticed some men who would not go out with another because of high standards. The person they did not fit their standards would fit most people's standards. They just don't see love in that person I guess.

All I am saying is that people will be judged differently all the time. Not all women are judged for having high standards, the same for men.
