Please may someone be so kind and help me with this question, Compare an everyday diet to the vegan diet in terms of Dailey intake and variety and health benefits.(positives and negatives) I've looked briefly at how restricting the vegan diet is. I'm still in the process of finding it more just wondering if you could give me your side or opinion to the question.

As you may have discovered, the scientific literature is quite positive in terms of the health benefits of plant-based diets on a overall population basis. For example, a 2014 review of over 100,000 people in the US and 65,000 people in the UK found that both vegetarians and vegans have reduced risk for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and obesity; however, vegans experienced greater risks reduction for those diseases.

That said, the health benefits can vary dramatically at an individual level. In other words, people who are careless about the potential hazards of their diet - no matter whether it is vegan, vegetarian or meat-eating - are prone to various diet-related illnesses. A vegan diet has certain well-know pitfalls, and it does need more effort nd understanding to avoid certain acute deficiency diseases.

On the other hand, there are well accepted ecological benefits to plant-based diets, including a drop in greenhouse gas production, less intensive land use, lower pollution by nitrogen fertilisers etc
