Not necessarily, if you take a TV (Or any other device that can display televison programmes) you need to pay for a TV license.
True, but it's only about £100 a year. not too much

No one has mentioned their mobile phone but stated other obvious stuff such as clothes
I don't really think of my mobile as being in my room. It tends to stay on me wherever I go

I'm not allowed fairy lights at my college - not even a mini fridge (yet we don't get kitchens as fully catered for, so I can't even keep drinks cold!)

I've already chosen my colour scheme - it's neutral, sort of light browns, minky browns and cream - thought they're safe colours depending on what manky carpet i get! hehe
 no even shared kitchens? we all have mini fridges & shared kitchens. better hope your food is good!

colours sound safe - mine was a pink/purple/silver. the most 'girlie room in college' apparently.

most college decor is a sort of inoffensive beige for those paying conference guests..!

That's certainly true. £121 plus ~£70 for a Freeview box gets you quite a lot of viewing for 40p/day. Advert free viewing on the BBC, may I add.

(Yes I like the BBC )

Still undecided between a contract Orange SPV E200 or a payg Sharp GX30. Similar phones, similar money.
