How to decide with future?

Hello!
Long time I didn’t post on TSR, so now I have actual problem, so I thought to share it :frown:

I am currently studying Management Information System, it’s a good major since u have many job opportunities but I am really not into it. First of all because I don't like my uni, second thing I have no uni life, then because I feel its too easy …And I want something more serious.
Therefore after deep thinking, I thought to switch into architecture but I am scared ...
If I go to architecture, then I will switch uni …And I am not sure that I want architecture but it sounds more serious to me. And I have many friends that study architecture so maybe I just want it because of others?? (I have this serious problem on comparing myself with others) And if I switch and then I find that Management Information System is a better option …Totally LOST...and I don’t know what to do...If I really want architecture then I will have HUGE fights with dad with switching uni…But if this is not for me? (Until last minute I wasn’t sure what I want to study)
So any Ideas how to decide for anything? I don’t want to ruin my life and I don't want to think badly for not changing ...

first off i read from left to right so your post is pretty hard to understand. second are you refereing to computer architecture? as in information systems computing type subject?
