515- A

I hoped for at least an A, so I'm pleased I got it. I had a TOTALLY incompetent teacher for year 11, so I attribute the A to the good teacher I had in year 10.

I'm a little worried though- because I'm supposed to be doing maths next year for A level. :frown: Should I switch to english lit that I got an A* in? But then I can't do anything science-y at uni coz I'd be doing Bio, Chem and French as well, so don't I need the maths??? Argh!!!
553/600 - A* (only just but and A* is an A* whichever way you look at it)
B- intermediate :tongue:
damn intermediate paper:mad::rolleyes:
Also seeing as I thout i was gona get a C it wasnt a bad grade!! lol

Well if u got a A u won't find AS particularly hard apparently and A2 just requires a bit more work so u shuld go 4 it.
me!
I just checked I actually got 529/600... I got 416/480 for the exam

how did you know you had that out of 600??

sorry i don't know what i had. i did mine in college so perhaps its different.

Hey, thanks for the advice. :smile: I probably will go for it, and just be prepared for having to work hard.

I think being told by my teacher that I wasn't in her class to get only a B worked, since I got an A :biggrin:

state, specialist maths+computing tho ;>
I was expecting a C- but I was terrified I might get a U! The non-calculator paper was unbelievably difficult and I must have left out at least a quarter of it, with the rest filled up by comlete guesses! I hadn't even seen some of the topics that came up, let alone been taught them! The calculator paper was better, so I was hoping that and my B grade coursework would salvage a C. You can imagine my pleasant surprise on results day when I found out I got a B! I was shocked, and really happy, but couldn't really celebrate for fear of rubbing it in because my friends who did Intermediate all got Ds and have to resit! Poor sods....NO MORE MATHS AGAIN EVER :biggrin:....as you can tell, I really hated it lol!

B :| ...and I was happy with that. 480 was my mark - i am NOT complaining, I thought I flunked it. :biggrin:

A* 556/600 - How the hell I got 300/300 on the final I do not know. The beauty of scaled results :smile:

Snap, but i'm with AQA.
I got a B (higher) but I was only expecting a C or maybe even a U after those exams, so I was really happy. No one in my school got an A* or an A, so I got one of the top marks and didn't even work that hard in maths as I hated it. Not bad really :tongue:
