This season feels like one that I will just randomly watch something that just appears rather than wait on one, not really much that looks like I'll be into me. **** me though Hajimete sounds like proper quality.

I don't care if you think that I'm lower than incombustible trash but I am SO excited for Tenshi no 3P!!! I loved Rokyubu - same original author - for the artwork and the characters (apart from the annoying pink hair who could only say 'Ohh!') plus I need some slice of life fluffiness to get me through this heat
Hajimete no gal original manga was not bad as it progressed but something tells me the anime version will be terrible.
As for other shows I'll probably go for Gamers, Princess Principal and Free season 3 Dive!!

In.Exams are finally over,let the anime and Manga summer begin !
The first few new eps have now aired! 
It's a little too late for me to watch and review them right now, but expect that early tomorrow.
One of these first few series to air is a Chinese co-production called Enmusubi no Youko-chan... and yes, I just ninja-edited that into my first post, I completely missed it before. Though to be fair, none of my usual sources of info seemed entirely sure what it was or when it was airing.

Katsugeki! Touken Ranbu
For a second time in anime form, we see anthropomorphic sword boys sent back in time to protect the past from those who would alter it, even where it means sitting back and letting big disasters and assassinations take place. Unlike the earlier Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, this is the main focus of the series, as opposed to a flimsy excuse for fluffy slice-of-life fun times. There's not a huge amount to be said about this ep, fairly standard introductory fare, with ufotable's usual godly production values. So far the cast is nice and small - hopefully it'll stay that way, as the sheer overload of characters in Hanamaru ruined it for me. Not a bad start!

Okay, I can see why this series created so much confusion on the various anime database sites now. Apparently it's made up of four Chinese series with half-length episodes, combined into one Japanese series with regular length episodes... I'm not even sure how to mark it on Anime-Planet, so I think I'll leave it at the one episode for now.

Our main characters are a fox spirit who's unwillingly engaged to marry a human, and a human monk who's unwillingly engaged to marry a spirit, both as part of some unification project. It's no secret to the viewer that they are in fact engaged to each other, but at this point they don't know that, and are strongly against the idea. Throw in a conflict with a rival fox spirit clan, whose prince is stuck in fox form and whose princess has been reincarnated as a human who hates the supernatural, and you've got a chaotically fast-paced and potentially hilarious gag comedy series, but with some scope for plot or romantic developments.
