i work at topshop which is the same rates of pay etc. the pay is 5.52ph which is pretty good. 25% discount after 3 months. 75% off 3 things every 3 months for uniform. really good job!

i got told it was £4.50 or a bit under when i was 16 and applied. and if youre an xmas temp you dont get discount unless you go permanent.

just as a heads up they prefer people who have experience in retail

sorry this is untrue. i am 16 and as i said earn 5.52 an hour with many opportunities for pay rises and bonuses an di had no experience in retail and no previous work experience but still got the job! i love it there. its fast paced, stressful but really exciting, never boring and different every day and the customers are lovely! plus my topshop is never bitchy and all the staff get on really well unlike many rumours!

I've been told that I've got a xmas temporary job at Topman
I start on Saturday... any advice on what I should bring with me, apart from bank details, passport

I heard that I have to bring name and contact details of someone I've known "more than one year" ...???

I had my interview on tuesday and was offered a job on Topman today  (even though I'm a girl... I didn't think they did that! I'm not too bothered though  ) I've just been told to bring my passport and bank details to my induction. I wasn't told anything about bringing details of someone, must just be your branch!

Check the dates...
just wondering if you guys applied online or just gave cvs in store

Yeah, i'm also wondering how did you guys apply for jobs?
I also was wondering how applies please reply!

I applied by giving my cv to my local store

I work for Topshop and get paid 6.05 p/h. You have opportunities to higher this when you complete different handbooks which determine essentially what level you are as part of the Topshop team. Each level your raised to you also get a bonus of around 100 pounds.

It's a good job, however you end up spending all your wages in there!
The shifts are also only 4 hours a day, so if your looking for full time, 20 hours would take up 5 days - which is hardly 'full time'

Nevertheless there is nothing better than working with people your age that are fun and share the same interests! X

Do you know if Topshop pay the same as Miss Selfridge for 16-17 year olds?

Thanks
I work in Topman, I'm 17 and get paid £6.60 an hour. It is the flagship store in Oxford Circus though, perhaps we get higher pay than other stores?
