It won't let me put down two sets of mathematics either.
So I've put Mathematics with Edexcel and then filled out six modules but for the last three (the fm ones) I've put 'FM: [module title] (OCR MEI)'. DO you think this will suffice?

Is this for the unit grades? If so, then I think you are meant to put it down for the A2 Maths exam board. They can work it out from the unit code (I had a transfer from AQA to Edexcel, but that was over AS to A2 Maths).

I gained a low A in a module in Jan, but wasn't happy with it and so retook it in June, but i think i must have done much worse and got like a low B or something. My result sheet in August shows the same result that i got in Jan as the June result.
So, do i just leave the Jan result, or write it again with juen as the date, showing the same mark?

Right, I'm going to remove the "I didn't go to the exam!" from my SAQ and just hope that 5A* and one A balances out 2 Cs a D and a U :s-smilie:

I'M SENDING IT. PFFFT.

ok what to do when a module title doesn't fit the space they provided?

Every sitting is needed - so put down another one for June with your lower mark.

Shorten it ruthlessly.

oooh I just got an email from Magdalene about my SAQ...I haven't completed mine yet (needed unit titles etc) and they now "encourage [me] to do so as soon as possible"
:s-smilie:
however It sounds like a generic email so it's okay I guess! Still, I'm now filling in the last box so I'm nearly there!

When you add topics, do you just add those you will have done by the time you go to interview if you have one or do you put everything you're going to be covering? :s-smilie:

... Also, could someone please tell me if it's a bad idea to try and explain away my GCSE grades? :frown:

I think you put what you will have done once you go to interview so that they can decide what to ask you about . However this means I have to leave Further Maths A2 completely blank, which seems a bit odd .

I suppose if you have a good reason then you could mention your GCSE grades, however you have a good number of A*s anyway, however I do have to say, odd mix you've got there :p:.

Anyone doing edexcel chemistry? It's silly to have such a long module title. How should I shorten "Introductory organic chemistry, energetics, kinetics and equilibrium and application" or "Periodicity, quantitative equilibria and funtional group chemistry". Any advise?

Ok, I'm sure we've had similar questions in this thread already -

But I can just take a normal picture in my house (as long as it has light background etc. etc.) right?

It doesn't have to be a scanned passport pic or anything??

I think the unit codes should do... I mean they can't get confused with the unit codes and they can find out for themselves right? Just write in as much as you can.

Reply 399

Oh that's clever!

I'll have a look at my results sheet

Haha at the moment it reads things like: Individual Differ...(cont.)

Thanks!
