You must write down EVERY exam taken, whether it was an A, a U or a retake, it doesn't matter. If they make you an offer and then find out you lied on the form then they have the right to withdraw that offer - that really isn't a chance you want to take.

Ok, so i've finished my SAQ now, thanks for the help guys. Now i just have to find 3 essays to send off, which is gonna be hard, as I haven't even written that much this year, does work from year 12 count? (I doubt that would be of a high standard though!).
Anyways, I'm on half-term now, so I won't be able to sort all that stuff out till i get back on the 3rd of Nov, and the deadline for sending them off is 7th of Nov!

How about Year 11?
My standard of work then was so much better than Year 12. >_<

Ehrr, totally random question.
Anyone knows what does the word "subject" at the end of the fee assessment questionnaire exactly stand for?
It goes like this:
Name
Signed
Dated
Subject

I don't know why, I have the feeling that "subject" might not be the course i'm applying to, but something related to the data protection bit.
I mean, in the whole document, the degree course is always called degree course, never subject.

Anyone?

Was that the person who said they got an offer, they then rang his school and rejected his offer upon finding they were out on the maths class size by 1 person? The only way that might have been true is if they over subscribed that course and needed petty excuses to chuck people off! lol

Is everybody listing the main topics using semicolons like on the example? I wouldn't normally do that, but if it's what they do i'm inclined to copy.

Reply 974

I would bet my genitals that the punctuation used to separate items in the list is, within reason (because using a question mark would just be daft), totally unimportant. (For what it's worth, though, a semicolon is the most correct way of doing it.)

I really cannot write an additional personal statement! I purged myself of everything in my UCAS one, and I have nothing specific to say about the course that cannot be found in a prospectus. Is it sensible to leave it blank? All my friends are telling me to write something - anything.

The Punctuation isn't really important. However, if you read the guide to completing the SAQ, they use a semi-colon in the example.
