If the people of Kashmir want to be part of Pakistan then that is what matters. India can't hold Kashmir on the basis that it benefits them, it shows they dont care about the people of Kashmir but rather a regional benefit of it.

Simple, the ones who want to be part of Kashmir can immigrate to Pakistani Kashmir. There are 2 Kashmiris IOK and POK.

India has held on to Kashmir on that basis for more than 70 years and I'm pretty confident that it will not give it up at all costs.

Giving up Kashmir might be good for kashmiri jihadis who want sharia but it would have a very negative impact on India's economy (which is trying to pull millions out of poverty currently with the help of its high growth rate)and in the worse case scenario total economic collapse.

Anti-India Kashmiri's will just have to learn to live with India or gtfo to Pakistan. Also 15% of Kashmiri's were Hindus until like 1990 (some were also forced to convert or were killed) when they were forced to flee Kashmir by the muslim majority there because they were pro-India.

Should India bow down and surrender in front of these Jihadis?

The only acceptable solution is for Pakistan to have its Kashmir and India to have its just like it is right now.There is no other solution. Period.
