I may have left the whole thing way too late. I have a CV written but I've been told if I wanted a realistic chance I should've applied months ago?

On a semi related note, does anyone have success stories for finding part time work despite applying in June/July?

It is very late i'll admit, as by the time you've applied and been interviewed it'll be july..
Most places will have filled their positions already and started training april time. Are you in between years at Uni? It may come across very obvious if it's on your CV that your studying a degree thats miles away from where you're applying..

I'd just keep hunting and fingers crossed you find something soon x

i applied to mcdonald's and it only took me a week from sending off the application to get the job (i didn't end up taking it tho) so you could apply there. If it's other places it might take longer so yeah you should have applied back in april tbh. However you should still apply as you never know the whole process might be a lot quicker and you could end up getting a job soon

I actually applied to a few places late and have received invitations for interviews (some I have already done and some are in the next week).
