    So I've applied to uni to study English lit and philosophy which I find really interesting but not certain of a career i can do after. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Most probably a teacher (you can choose to teach both subjects)

    Yea I've really thought about that but really not convinced that I'd be able to learn to control a whole class 😅

    Any job that requires only a good university degree, e.g.

    civil service (central government, executive agencies, non-departmental public bodies)
    local government
    consultancy (management, recruitment etc.)
    management (retail, hospitality, personnel etc.)
    journalism
    marketing
    public relations
    advertising
    banking
    insurance
    publishing

    and others that require further training after any degree, often paid for by a future employer, e.g.

    law
    teaching
