I want to try and find a decent indoor exercise bike that isn't too expensive, preferably less than £150. I've had a look at a few that have decent reviews but I'm not sure about what kind would be best. I'm not looking to get super fit, just to keep my health in check and maybe lose a few pounds. Don't need anything fancy at all, just something basic that works well.

Anyone had experience with cheaper exercise bikes?

How basic is basic? You can get something with just a resistance strap on a wheel, or are you after an electronic display?

I'd prefer one that could tell me how far I've gone and maybe how many calories I've burned, so an electronic display would be good.

Something like that would probably do you then.

You're not going to pick up a gym quality bike for £150, but you'll get something similar to the linked one, for under £150, it has a basic display.

That comes under your budget with a slightly more comprehensive display.

There's quite a lot out there, filter down by what you're looking for or argos, or somewhere similar, and take a look at the user reviews.

Get a cheap barbell and use that- Much more useful.

Do you have a bike? If so you could get a turbo trainer to use that indoors.
