1. and what was question 23?
2. (Original post by Mermaidqueen)
Yeah but the values of the 20th term nd the 8th term were both negative numbers so you don't need to write -30 as a difference, just 30 is correct
would -30 still get the mark though?
3. (Original post by B0redBrioche)
Because number of columns of B does not equal rows of A

^ For this question I put there are fewer columns in B than A. Mark or no mark?
Its because you cant multiply a 2*1 matrix by 2*2 matrix
4. (Original post by gcse0)
Can someone describe question 9 and 10 for me since I forgot?
Same here these r the only two I don't remember. I've already lost 21 marks on this paper! Bye bye a hat
5. (Original post by Npt512)
what was the first question again?
Difference between 20th and 8th term
6. Based on the two papers, what would be your guess for A^? I think around 145?

I'd say more like 140 to be honest. Those papers were some of the hardest I've seen for this spec
8. Thanks for this! I think I've only lost 7 maths in this paper- fingers crossed for an A^!

Could someone explain the last question to me??? I got a completely difference answer to it XD There goes 5 marks

"Why can't you work out BA" or something like that

It wanted a b c d in integer form so you had to simplify further.
Do you know what question 9 and 10 asked?
12. (Original post by tom_6)
It was the area of OPB (which was 16) not OAB
I swear OPB was 24 cause it was 10 across and 4.2 up so 10*4.2*1/2 is 24?
13. I know you can't really guess grade boundaries, but does anyone know what the grade boundaries are likely to be like?
14. (Original post by Nudelauflauf)

That's what I got, 24 units squared

Ah cheers, how many marks again?

Yeah I know but I got something like
3(2x - 10) -295 or something

...Oh crap I forgot it was 2x so it should've been -5 in the brackets...
Nm!

And I'm sorry I can't remember what either of them were! They sound familiar but XD
16. Would 152/175 or 151/175 equate to A^?
17. (Original post by Pastelx)

I got 12(x-5)^2 -70
Where a is 12 b is 1 c is 5 and d is 70
18. Can someone please explain number 19 to me. so Sin(a) = k where a is acute and k in constant. It didn't say what 'a' was so how did you get one value in terms of K when a could be 0 < a < 90? I'm so confused :'(
Thanks
19. For question 19, the sin(a) = k,

Would I still get the marks if I put 1 for k, and -1 for -k? Plz someone reply
20. I got 19.2 units squared for the area of the triangle - is that right?
