I've been applying to various companies for my placement year and am yet to get any response from anywhere. My CV is really bad with no job experience and a former college dropout but my grades at uni are quite good. Anyone have any tips on how I manage a placement?

Have you spoken to your university's career service to get their support in finding you a placement?

^ What he said, but its worth mentioning when I went on placement there were only about 70 others who did from the entire school of science and technology, manage your expectations, you probably won't get one with a bad CV but its not the end of the world
