I've been wanting to study medicine for a while now but my AS M1 exam ( a component of maths) went really badly and now although my C1 and C2 went well I'm worried I'm only going to get a b overall (I'm predicted and A* at the end of AS). Would this stop me getting into the top universities like Oxford or UCL to do medicine?
For reference I got 9A*s 5As at GCSE.

If this is a fourth AS level in addition to your 3 main A-levels, this normally won't necessarily prevent you from getting an offer. It may however make it more difficult, particularly for Oxbridge - you'd likely need to do very well on the UKCAT/BMAT and in interview if called. Also Oxford shortlists before interview so it's actually possible if you don't have top tier BMAT scores you'll not get interviewed at all there
It's very possible that it went better than expected however and there's really no use in dwelling on speculation, as opposed to getting on with your studies and any work experience or volunteering you're doing.
