    Hi,

One of my football teammates did a school exchange a couple of months ago (we've just finished year 11) to Germany and I never got an opportunity to ask him how he organised it. He has since left and I have no way of contacting him. So I was wondering whether it is actually possible to do a school exchange from the UK to Europe or the USA without having to organise it privately, say with family for example.

Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks.

I believe they are organised through your school, so maybe mention it to your headmaster. You could also contact your local chamber of commerce to see if your tow/ city is twinned with anywhere as there may be pre existing contacts.
