    Hi there!
I'm in a bit of a muddle at the moment, and I was wondering if any of you UCLAN film students can help me?
I'm seriously pursuing a career in cinematography/directing, and, having gained some previous media experience, am now looking to go to a uni that is going to best prepare me with the skills I need in to work in such a wonderful, yet tough industry. I've been offered a place at UCLAN to study Film Production, and I'm awaiting a decision for Leeds Beckett (NFS). I've visited UCLAN, and the facilities look pretty amazing, but I would like to get the opinion of students who have actually studied there.
Do you think that the course prepares you well for life within the industry? Do you gain plenty of experience in the fields I have mentioned? How would you describe the tutoring? What's your honest opinion on the course?
    Any help is much appreciated!

it doesn't after 2 years on the course i left because there wasn't enough support from the tutors, the equipment may be great but getting it out in working order is hard, theres restrictions and damage, it's difficult to find filming locations and actors who want to come to preston, i wouldn't recommend it
How are you feeling about your exams?
