Potter just has a MASSIVE fan base, Merlin is actually smarter, more powerful, more experienced, has better friends etc. Potter is still good though.

They were both amazing, but Harry Potter was more my childhood and Merlin was more my early teenage years.
Both had stupid endings though so they're equal in my eyes
Merlin is the funnier one so I prefer merlin as a wizard
