I realised we were spending a curiously large amount of time just in each others company, going places just the two of us, and despite endless hours talking on MSN never ran out of stuff to say.
I brought up the topic 'are we kidding ourselves' about just being friends three times before we managed to get the conversation to progress enough for both of us to confidently say, yes, we both did want to be more than 'just friends'.

When slightly younger in 6th form/high school, the basic "will you go out with me?" seems to be relied on though.

She added me on msn and we starting chatting, we then met up with a couple of other friends but that didn't go too well as we were both shy! I then went over hers a week later and things went from there. We've been going out for just over 4 years :biggrin:

well, we went to a party and things kinda happened. didn't start going out then though. there were a few complications like i'd kinda slept with her best friend the week before and strangely enough i didn't quite feel right. thought about it for a few days and committed to her cos i felt better around her. it all turned out ok cos now her best friend is with one of my best friends and i've been with my gf for nearly 9 months.
