What is the next step?

Hello all, having known a girl for about 8 weeks, I've gotten quite attached to her. We've established a good relations, and I have an inkling that we both want to take it further. Would it be appropriate, just as a kind of greeting the next time I see her, to give her a friendly hug and to teasingly say "you like me"?
I think either of us are quite comfortable around one another, I'm just questioning the appropriateness of the above action ^^

Any point in the right direction ( or kicking off the forum :p:

) would be appreciated :smile:

Sorry I was too vague. I didn't mean to ask "you like me?" but to teasingly say "you like me". I can see how either could be forward though :p:

OP: I think you've got roughly the right idea. Tease her about liking you, but in a better and less blatant way than you suggested. And tease her about other stuff too and get a lot of physical contact going. And invite her to hang out and go for a drink not "go for a drink". There's a distinction!
