On the GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PAPER would you be able to help me with this question - How does the writer use language here to describe Roseabels bus journey home? How could i answer this?

This was from this year's paper- I have no idea why you would be doing it now?

As the above said, you analyse language techniques (metaphors/similes/assonance/personification/pathetic fallacy/hyperboles) and describe the effects they have. I can't remember any specific examples but what you would say would be
"Writer X uses the simile, "quote", to suggest to the reader the dull nature of the bus journey."
List loads of sentences like these for an easy 8/8

You need to identify the language being a smilie, metaphor. etc
Then say why the writer used it.
Then develop your point and link it back to the question.
