You're not alone, I think tons of people lose motivation at a certain stage in life where it seems like there's more to life. I have 3 points for you;
1)Don't try and say you'll work constantly, into the ground, cos then you'll do nothing, set yourself realistic spells to work and give yourself leisure time for what you like, eg music sport or whatever. Having said that try not to piss it away on msn or the like.
2)Sounds obvious, but try and see it as enjoyable rather than painful, the work.
3)Just throw yourself into it without trying to be perfectionist or seeing it as insurmountable. Do not overthink, thats the biggest obstacle to productivity.

Ahh my motivations been terrible since Ive come to uni, its not like at school where you know you'll get told off if you dont hand something in.. I always seem to have lots of motivation at the start of the year, then unless everything goes perfectly, then I just lose interest in it i.e. if Im working in a group with people, and they're crap so I know we're only going to come out with a 2:2/3rd for whatever work we're doing then I just think whats the point!

I think you can ask the mods to ban you, but just think about it, if you could block one webiste, you would be able to unblock it and even if you could not do this you would always find the next thing to become addicted to.

I had a similar problem at the end of last year. I really struggled to get out of bed for school, and found it even harder to actually do any work at home. The wierd thing is that I had no problem getting up at 4AM for work. I think it was just because no one was actually needing me to go to school.
