When we think of a place where people are suffering, we tend to think of Africa.
Starvation, lack of water, poverty...
Before China's industrialisation,
Before all the Trans National Corporations moved in,
Before everything we love was made in China,
China was completely different to as it is now,
More people are getting wealthier there are more jobs and tourism has increased.
However, we all now the downsides of GLOBALISATION (exploitation of workers)
It used to be cheap for a company to make things in China,
now it's getting more expensive.
Will Africa be the next hotspot for production?
Will manufacturing improve peoples lives?
If globalisation isn't the answer, what is?

Africa as continent isn't going to magically grow to a superstate like power in the amount of time China did because it's a continent while China is a country. Parts of Africa is already showing some kind of progress, I can name a few like Ghana, Kenya (to some extent), Nigeria and Botswana (High GDP per capita). All those countries are starting to claw their way to the top and could start making waves that could scare the big players.
