I don't really think an increase of religious people is inherently a bad thing, assuming they're not extremists.

Religion influences far more than terrorists. For example, the ban on GMOs is largely thanks to the religious lobby, and that could cause many hundreds of millions of deaths in a future where Africa's extra 3 billion mouths need feeding (many of the extra mouths being thanks to Christian missionaries telling people birth control is a sin).
That isn't, however, solely about the existence of religion, but instead how much power it is given.

I don't really think this will impact the future of Germany all that much.

In this modern age, religion has become a very subjective concept and these views can easily change and do change very frequently with different factors such as elderly influence on younger children and religious/personal experiences.

However, I do think that the amount of religious people, religious areas and countries including Germany, will definitely begin to decline as we continue to approach a more scientific age in which people begin to rely more on technology and facts rather than words which lack proven evidence.
