If you're a Muslim, I'm 99% sure you can't just forego fasts whenever you feel like and then make them up later. It's one of the foundational pillars of Islam for a reason, is it not?

Yeah youre not supposed to unless sick or pregnant or period etc but i believe on focusing more on my own sins than trying to put down others for theirs. As long as youre constantly trying to improve.

Not completing a fast due to exams is invalid reason.
Yes fasting is an important foundation however people can be exempt under certain circumstances: illness, travelling, pregnancy or periods. If people miss fasts, they are advised to make up the fasts he missed at some point later this year or he should (pay to) feed homeless people / needy people (ie proper charity cases) an appropriate amount per fasts they have missed (so for example, 1 day would be 3 meals). Some people like myself have tend to do both if htey miss a fast.
lay off the guy id say. Yes fasting is an important foundation of islam but other people are not allowed to punish / ostracise someone for not keeping a fast per the quran (people still do anyways). How have I ostracised anyone? I asked why OP couldn't do it if other people could, it is a perfectly valid question.
