Need new trainers but need them for football, tennis and running ideally. Which would be best to use across the sports?

Ideally some cushion for running and a dropped tip for football.

£10-£35 range - cheers.

Hmm, I personally think you're going to struggle to get an all-purpose shoe for these without it just being a bit of jack of all trades. You need a good heel box for tennis shoes to stop your ankle rolling, obviously a dropped tip (you don't use studs I presume) for football and cushioning, lightweight with a good instep for running. I can't think of anything which ticks all those boxes.

Could you stretch to two pairs? Maybe one for tennis, and another for running and football?

I play running and football more, never had a specialised shoe for tennis either so I don't think it would be too much of an issue.
Finally! A football topic! It's a bit random but just needs a little conversation wandering to kick off.

Raised on Chelsea so I gotta say. I like Swansea City jerseys but the team can throw away.
But when it comes to how to play? I say MU all day.

Also it depends are you on turf or indoor?

Football indoor and grass, grass more casually with mates tho, running pavement & woods but I could always avoid the woods, tennis courts hard and grass.

If you're not prone to rolling your ankles and spraining them whilst playing tennis, I'd concentrate on getting a good running shoe that can double as a football boot then.
You could get a pair of astros, (they're the ones lots of little molded 'studs'/bumps' across the entire sole, ie not just a handful of studs on the sole like boots), however they'll provide excessive grip indoors and potentially mess with your ankles. I used them on 3G and on astro competitively and on dry grass (not in a competitive game) and had no issues, not indoors though. I've also used them for running, however the route I go is on grass mostly, on pavement you'll not get as much cushion as with a running shoe, but you could probably make do but if you notice any pain it could well be due to the shoe.

Got some puma running shoes in the end, not too high and fairly low tipped to do the job.
If used for football and tennis, how often would damage them? I can use my old, falling apart shoes for tennis but indoor football I was literally slipping about aha

depends really, on a lot of things. How you use them, the quality they are etc and sometimes just luck. I've seen fairly new boots rip off at the sole after a bad scuff along the ground, while a *****y pair of trainers could last ages. It's kind of like asking how long is a piece of string.
