Predicted : Best possible situation : What I think I got
Maths - 9 : 7 : 6
English Lit - 8 : 9 : 7/8
English Lang - 8 : 8/9 : 7/8
Biology - A* : A* : A/A*
Chemistry - A* : A* : A
Physics - A* : A* : B/A/A*
RS - A* : A* : A/A*
Geography - A* : A* : A/A*
French - A* : A : C/B
Art - A* : A* : A*
IT - L2D* : L2D* : L2D/L2D*
Further Maths - (No school prediction) : A : C/B

I want to study veterinary medicine at university so I need fairly good grades however I am not certain about what my envelope will unveil on results day :frown:

So I was predicted all A*s (except no prediction for further maths), best case scenario is 9A*s and 3As.

How did you find the Further Maths exams? Do you think the boundaries will be higher or lower than usual?
The incredibly optimistic view for my results on predicted/my thoughts.

Biology - A*/A*
Chemistry - A*/A*
Physics - A*/A*
Maths - 9/8
ICT - A* (already achieved)
Geography - A*/A* (hopefully, not sure)
Computing - A*/A*
English Language - 8/8
English Literature - 7/8
Sociology - A/B

That was therapeutic! :biggrin: I got 9A*s and 1A in my January mock exams but for the real thing I'm just so stressed that I did worse than I have been doing all year. I'm aiming for 8A*s3As.
although ive told my self to base line at a B.. ;

English Lit = 6
English Lang = 6
Maths = 7/8
Core Science = B/A
Additional Science = B/A
History = A*
Geography = A
Media = A*
Business = A
P= predicted
R= what I'm realistically expecting

Biology - P=A* R=A*
Chem - P=A* R= A*
Physics - P=A* R=E (teacher didn't teach)
Maths - P=A* R=A (my calculator broke in the calculator paper)
English - P=A* R=A
History - P=A R=A (paper was a gift imo)
RE. - P=A. R=A

That's all the exams I've sat this year :smile: It's fair to say I'm bricking it over results day

predicted: what grade I believe I achieved

English Lit (AQA)- 6:7
English Lang (AQA)- 6:6
Maths (Edexcel)- 7:7
Biology (AQA)- A*:A
Chemistry (AQA)- A*:A
Physics (AQA)- A*:B
Child Development (I don't have a clue why I took this lmao (WJEC))- A:A
History (AQA)- A:A
French (Edexcel)-B:A/A*
Computer Science (OCR)-B:B

How the exams went:
English lit- The exams went really well! I revised so much for English lit as I never paid much attention in class as it bore me to death. However, when learning at home by myself, I found it so much more enjoyable. That being said, I do wish I had paid more attention in class.

English lang- Hated it with a passion. Section A on both P1 and 2 went very well, as did Section B on P2. However, I did section A of P1 wrong and it was just awful, so not hoping for more than a 6.

Maths- Maths has always been regarded as my 'best subject' and I used to find it easy. Because of this, I became complacent and stopped working as hard, and when it came to the exam, there was a lot of topics I wasn't 100% on as I never paid attention in class :/

Biology- Can't remember the exams tbh. Idk how I had an A* prediction for all three sciences either. 100% in CAU

Chemistry- I nearly missed my chemistry 2&3 exams oops. Cannot really remember much of this either. 100% in CAU

Physics- Cried after P1. P2 was awful, but P3 was good. 100% in CAU

Child Development- Exam was good (I think I got about 95%), however, my coursework will let me down.

History- My favourite subject. Exams went well, however my coursework was either a high B or low A :/

French- If my teacher's marking is correct, my coursework was all at an A*. Reading exam was okay, listening exam was a bit meh.

Computer Science- My worst subject. Didn't understand anything and finished the exam within 20 minutes (as did everyone else in the exam hall). My teacher wasn't the best. Also, I relied on the exam to be mostly maths, but there was only one two mark maths-based question :frown:

Sorry, I never realised I had written so much, haha
Setting low expectations for myself so I don't get disappointed (NOTE TO SELF: numbers to the right are best predicing)
Maths - 8 9
English lit - 5 6
English lang - 6 7
Biology - A A*
Chemistry - A A*
Physics - B A
French - A A*
Graphics - B A
Geography - B A
Computing - D C
Yeah, computing wasn't great for me. I do like the actual subject, though.

Product Design - A (probably a B, though based on coursework)

Yes but, unless you get a remark, it won't be changed.

My situation with maths, English language, French and computing was exactly the same for me as it was for you. I think I probably only got an 8 because I stopped fully paying attention. Oh well, a lesson to learn for A level
Hey, good luck to you all next week! Hope you get the results you want!

As for me, I'm also awaiting GCSE results. I predict the following GCSE's (all CCEA unless stated otherwise):

Maths- A*
Further Maths- A*
English Lang- A
English Lit- A
RE- A*
Spanish (AQA)- A
Biology- A
Chemistry- A
Physics- A*
Music- A*

I did RE paper 9 last June and got an A* (195/200 UMS)

Hope I get no B's and at least 5 A*s...

For A Level, I chose Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics; think I wanna do accounting, finance or just straight maths at uni (maybe Oxbridge since I'm Asian )
