and Fizzau's method for measuring the speed of light.

Does anyone know some good revision resources for these topics? They're not in the textbook.

Bertozzi's experiment - basically there was a limit to the speed of electrons despite increasing energy, goes against the kinetic energy formula and therefore it was evidence for special relativity.

Ultra violet catastrophe - normal wave theory predicted that power would tend to infinity at the wavelength of UV. Instead, it was more so like a bell curve, which contradicted the wave theory hypothesis

Fizzau's experiment - measuring the speed of light using distance/time, however he used a turning cog (circle) for more precise measurements, since the speed of light is so fast, even 9000km was fairly short. He used the period of circular motion and measured how many degrees the cog turned before light was reflected back. You don't need to know calculations, just the idea behind it.
