Changing Degree (phys to chem)

I received an offer for chemistry but now I am more interested in chemistry (with molecular physics).

How difficult would it be to change from physics to chemistry?

I know they are in different departments and technically it was the department of physics that saw my application and gave me an interview and offer.

Ultimately ask, the worst they'll do is say no. If you outline your case, particularly mentioning molecular physics, it's not the most extreme swap in the world.

Thanks for the reply, I'm just worried that they would withdraw my place, as this is Imperial we are talking about :/
