Before deciding, try living together for a few weeks and see if you can stand eachother.

lived with him for a month with him but as friends. how different do you think that is?

Hmmmmm, trickyyyyyyy.

I guess it's make or break time but I cannae see why it wouldn't work if you're happy right now.

its a make or break thing i think.

A friend i knew once said that the best way to kill a relationship is to go on holiday with them - it worked for him

It can be the best thing ever, my bf comes with me wherever I go on holiday, and it's brilliant, however, he does live with me during uni holidays, so it's not very different to what we do normally... just with a little more sun/snow etc.

Sounds amazing!

If it goes well, you're ready to get married.

Reply 9

You'll be fine.

Just make sure you give eachother space from time to time!

Holidays with your partner are great! Think of the memories you'll have

I'd really suggest you think hard about this before you do. Me and my ex booked to go travelling in Thailand for a month, then we broke up before going. It ended up being me + her + her new bf (awkwaaard).

I still have the scars on my arm from when she had her hips leaning onto my chair on the plane when she was sleeping, and I elbowed her to get her out of my area and she dug her nails into me as hard as she could in retaliation.

You went on holiday with your ex and her new bf?! I just would not be able to cope with something like that.

Why didn't you just sell him your ticket?

It was non-transferrable. :frown:

I just tried as hard as I could to do my own thing and not intrude on their space. Luckily I found some girls from Sheffield who I got on fairly well with, so I stuck with them instead.

The low point of the trip was hearing them have sex one night while I was trying to read.

Oh god, poor you. That's just awful.

I can't even imagine how nasty it must be to hear that.

Well a long trip together will certainly be make or break  You will either come back totally in love or totally hatig each others guts. Just the way it goes!
