The new guy. My ex and I had a weird dsyfunctional like friends that sleep in a bed relationship, it was only for a couple of weeks and now we're just good friends. My ex introduced me to the new guy in a weird pimp scenario (jk!).

Ok so he's seen you naked. And he said to you and your friend that he may be interested in seeing you again. Maybe he lost your number or he's just as shy as you and is scared to call you. I'd say you should go for it :smile:

ok I called. It went ok and he seemed into it then I said something stupid and I think he thinks I'm mad. Anyway he said call him a bit later so I'm currently drinking mulled wine to prepare me!

Aww, this is so cute! I remember when I used to obsess so much about boys and if they liked me, if I should text/call or whatever!

Just be relaxed and confident. He obviously saw something he liked in you so theres nothing to lose.

I said did you have a good rest of your half term and he said yeh and I said I heard about Ollie (My ex) accidentally spitting beer on you in the car and he was like .....right, yeh call me in a bit!

I used to be really laid back but I haven't been seeing guys for a while to sort myself out so now I feel a bit timid reentering the whole teen dating thing.

Oh dear.... What's the worst thing you could do when trying to get a new boyfriend (short of confessing to hate crimes or telling him your gay :p:

)? Mention your ex. What have you just gone and done? Exactly that.
I'm sure it'll turn out ok, just try not to do it too often.

(PS, i don't think that having a close relationship with your ex/ mentioning your ex when with a new guy is weird- come on! it's mature to maintain a close relationship with someone you shared something with- don't talk endlessly about him though :smile:

I tried to call him. Twice. Once went through to an answer message that was like we will text him your number so he knows you called but it was quarter to 1 (we had mulled wine for my nerves).
Then I tried him today (from my mobile which came in the post =) ) and he didn't answer. His got nodcredit so I dunno if he is missing my calls and can't call back or if he doesn't like me.
My ex is no threat. Like I forget his my ex because our relationship was never that intimate it was more a blurring of boundaries but I guess to someone that doesn't know us it sounds weird. However I thought he may think it was weird that I discussed him with my ex, like a was mad.
I'm really worried about coming across as a psycho because he said that his last girlfriend was a crazy stalker and he told me a story about it but I can't really remember why she was crazy(damn drink).

Hmm I so need to get better at this whole dating thing!
