what is the best uni for physics, not too competative

There are many universities which would accept AAA for Physics, although entry requirements are VERY important in making the decision on choosing which university to attend, you also need to consider other factors such as location, student satisfaction etc.

I presume you're studying both Physics or/and Mathematics as these are the two main subjects most universities are asking for.

For example, University Of Sussex entry requirements for BSc in Physics are ABB or AAB and a range of good GCSE's A*-C, it is a top 20 UK university in general and top 25 UK university for Physics and not to mention it is situated in a stunning area:

The University of Leicester, again is a reputable university, according to the "Complete University Guide" it is 27th on UK rankings, they have a Physics department which is in the Top 5 and their Physics degrees are accredited meaning that employers/recruiters are most likely to recognise the degree, entry requirements are AAB. Again, I wouldn't say Leicester University is a competitive university compared to Russel group universities.
