Booking a hotel room for a few hours

Does anyone know if this is possible, say just for an afternoon?

Moreover, is it possible to do this without sounding like a prostitute?

the only times ive seen this is at small ones near major transport links such as airports and ferry terminals. i couldnt say otherwise and its indubitably going to sound dodgy unless you make up some back story about having a two stage journey stop off or something

Well we just wanted a venue to go on an adventure (3 of us) and couldnt use any of our houses due to lack of privacy...

I think we are going to go to a big park and have a tent in case the weather gets horrible :biggrin:
