A 60 y/o female known hypertensive for 10 years, known diabetic for 15 years came in the Emergency Room because of difficulty of breathing of 2 hours duration. Patient came in with a VS BP 90/60 HR 113 RR 40. Patient has cyanotic lips. Wheel chair borne. Breath sounds bilateral rales on both lower lung field.

A. Possible diagnosis/diagnoses of this patient ?
B. What factors lead to the development of the current state of the patient?
C. What class of cardiovascular drugs may be seen in the patients medications? What is the mechanism of each drug class that would alleviate the patients condition
D. What non-pharmacologic advise would you give this patient?
