The Student Room Group

I missed a Sainsbury's call back! Lolz.

I was in lesson today, and Sainsbury's called me for what I'm assuming is a job interview. I left lesson to call them back, but they told me that the woman in charge of recruitment left the office (It was 15 mins after the missed call)

They said that she will call me tomorrow. I'm a bit desperate for a job due to money issues, so forgive me for making a thread about something like this. I'm worried that I may have lost my chance. Has anyone had a similar experience, or am I worrying about nothing?

Don't worry; you won't have missed your chance - particularly since you're a student so they will be understanding.

Just wait for the call tomorrow, it's fine.

I turned up at an interview for the RAF, commissioned , without all the required documentation/ id required (passport, driving license, MOD forms, etc.) and still passed. Didn't get in, but that was at a later date. Reckon you'll be cool.

Should I wait, though -- What if they decide to try someone else instead? Should *I* call them in the morning?

I know I'm being obnoxious about this, but damn, I need this job =X

If you call them it will make you seem keen and that you want the job, so yes it would be a good idea
