Lying about predicted grades...?

My school have given me some pretty terrible predicted grades including an E in English, F in Maths, D in D&T, and so on. This poses a problem when applying for sixth form/college places, and I think that I could easily outpreform these predictions and get at least Cs in these subjects. If I just write down C as my prediction on the application form, will they question it, or will I just have to prove my offical grade after exam?

if you think you can out perform the targets

ask if you can take a mock exam.... out perform their targets, and get them to raise them

Yeah, wait until you get your mock exam results to apply, and then speak to the teachers to get them changed based on your mocks.

Dont lie! If the 6th form contacts your current school and finds out about what you have done, you will immediately get rejected and your school would be really displeased.

Sit down with your subject teachers and discuss your grades and target grades and see if you can get them to raise it if you work harder/ complete some extra assignments. There are always ways there things can be done.

I agree don't do it... when you apply for places outside your school anyway sometimes your school have to write reports about you... it's bound to come out.

I wouldn't do it if i was you because the school that your a prospective student for could get in touch with your current school and ask for a reference. Then they'd know that you were lying and they would be likely to reject your application.

as long as you do better in the real exams then it wont matter, unless its a private place youre applying for

wait until you get your mocks.
its not a good idea to lie because if you don't get them... you'll look even worse, and you won't do what you want in college.
show your teachers that you can get higher than they think

Pff i wudnt do it mate!
u gna get caught and plus...they luk at ur final grades trust me thy dnt care much about predictions ...(they are usualaly proven 90% wrng!)
