It depends. You need to check your university handbook/regulations.

I laughed WAY too hard at this sass
If you fail one module in your final year, 2 things could happen:

1) Uni could allow you to retake and cap it at 40%.

or

2) Uni don't allow you to retake, but will mark all modules taken, including the failed one, resulting in a lower degree classification.

You should talk to your uni.

I'm not confused.

Your uni must have rules on the marking of retakes - what are the rules? Cap or not?

looooool, exactly! I'm looking for the answer also
Okay, if you have done good on the others, your lowest 30 credits gets dropped, hence your failed module....but its best you pass it, so those 30 credits to get dropped and the rest of the good marks in the other modules get carried onto the final classification.

It depends on the university. Ask them or check your student handbook / regulations
