Texting to confirm date.
Do you text your date to confirm a date both of you already know is happening. if so, when? i got a date tomorrow and don't know whether to text him right now or tomorrow. I don't want to sound o needy or clingy to him.

"Still meeting as (time)? "

You could just text him saying something along the lines of "We're meeting at 8... right?", so it just sounds like you're double checking the time or something. Not needy or clingy, but gets the job done.

Agree with others, a text saying still ok for *time*? is good and not too clingy etc.

lol, I think saying 'still meeting me at (time)' is a bad idea, seems incredibly self-depreciative. May reduce his view of you, 'looking forward' seems to make more sense.
