List your top 6 Prime ministers of the UK with their associated reasons. watch

My top three PM's are Clement Atlee, Churchill and Gladstone for their respective involvement to turn Britain into the modern welfare state and their involvements in each world war (by disregarding political lines and forming stable governments in war.) They are soon followed by Thatcher, Major and Cameron whom left a lasting economic impression on Great Britain by stimulating investment and leading the country into prosperity. Some may question why I've chosen Major over Blair, the reason for that is quite simple, the disastrous Iraq war and his condemnation in the Chilcot inquiry. Some may question why I've chosen Major in the economic front, if you bar black Wednesday where we were forced off of the ERM, he left a boom that Blair (or rather Brown) utilised to make himself look the competent prime minister and Major left an economic legacy that led to the Labour party's surplus years (which was wasted after the 01 election). The Thatcher and Cameron economic legacies speak for themselves.

Atlee for being an absolute darling, followed by Robert Gascoyne-Cecil for the glorious beard. The rest are miles behind.
