its a bit hard now that its been pushed underground.

Unless you're in a long distance relationship, have the balls to do it 'in person'.

Reply 5

Unless you have a damn good reason, I would do it in person.

Reply 6

Person is always best. If you've been in a relationship with someone the least you can do it tell them face to face.

Although I love the smoke signals idea, Classic :p: But would they really get the right message with the high winds, could end up proposing LOL

person.

Only cowards or genuinley stuck somewhere people used other methods.

Morse code?

Ask her Dad to tell her for you.

Then tell me what happened

Reply 10

In person. It's just cowardly to do it any other way.

I was broken up with on msn last night. Not as bad as it sounds, its not like he's just down the road! I was expecting it anyway, but it might come as a bit of a shock if you're just on your own and get dumped and have no idea... I think I'd be afraid of doing it face to face as well :frown:

My ex drove 3 hours to break up with me in person and then drove back. He could've done it through other ways but he didn't. I do respect him for doing it in person.

So do it in person.

Ichigo?

Objection! Eh...

Punch in the face? That'll work.

In person is definatly best (unless the other half is prone to throwing sharp objects or rage blackouts :/) but anyways, I broke up with someone on the phone, big mistake, made things more awkward. And I know someone who always breaks up by text because she says if she did it too their face she would feel too guilty and probably not break up with them.

I got broken up with over MSN. It's a stupid way to break up with someone unless there's a very good reason for it - my ex lived about 10 minutes away from me but still did it over MSN.
I'd prefer someone to do it face to face, at least then you know that they've made an effort.

Reply 16

In person- they made an effort which is better then nothing

Reply 17

In person, unless it's totally impractical.

Same. I got a "**** off, this is never going to work" lolol.
Funnily enough it was about this time last year, but we get on OK now.

Mine was about this time too! He went out with my friend a week later, then got dumped, added me on Facebook again (after deleting me), said he wanted to be friends, disagreed with something I said (he had a go at me for something I didn't do), then deleted me AND blocked me on Facebook!
So mature, especially as he's 23.
