Considering internal mock exams mean absolutely nothing at all outside of your school, what do you think? You don't put mocks on your university application, they're called mocks for a reason; they're mock-up, pretend exams with no actual value.

You generally apply to uni during year 13 before you have completed your external exams, so you show them your predicted grades. In my school these are based on mocks because we don't do AS's in subjects where the AS doesn't contribute to the final A level. However if you do AS's then predicted grades will probably be based on these. Ask your teachers to clear it up

Universities never even know if you take any mock exams, they don't look at them, because they can't. Mock exams are internal, pretend exams (often made up of past papers) that mean absolutely nothing outside of the school, they're only there for progress monitoring. The grades of mock exams are not disclosed to universities because they're not official and do not show any kind of qualification.

...and your school might use them for predictions (which universities do see)

A school is extremely unlikely to just copy and paste mock results into the predicted grades section. Obviously the student's whole academic profile will be taken into account, how fair the mocks actually were on reflection, how much effort the student is putting in, any discussions with the student about what they need to be predicted (obviously they won't always get predicted what they want but it will be taken into account), etc.

It can easily be included in the reference.

The mocks form a large part of many school's prediction process and OP should be aware.
