For those whom have been in a similar position, does the reputation of the university you have done an undergraduate in effect your chances of entering a post-graduate education with another university?
I'm just about to enter the 3rd year of my honours degree at what most here would likely consider a **** tier Scottish university. This is something I'm very concious of, however I decided to go to university at 21, by which point my school grades which had got me several unconditionals (which I decided not to take) had depreciated in value so much that for the course I wanted to take (History & Politics) I was left with few options.
Even If I achieve a 2.1 or a first, am I likely to be discriminated against when applying for a masters at - for example - Glasgow, due to the fact my undergrad is from a **** tier uni?
