What does it mean when..

the opposite sex tease and laugh about you (in a playful way) when you are in a group and everyone is together but when you are alone with them they are serious and don't speak to you much? Does it mean they don't like you or is it hard to tell? By like I don't mean fancy I mean like as in friends.

well some of my female friends are like this as well but the way I see it is they are more comfortable talking about me than to me. Im really quiet and shy so I don't see why.

Does everyone else get this with people?

Last year, a guy used to tease me and talk about me rather than talking to me! I would like to think he fancied me as i fancied him but he still doesnt know that lol.

I hate the whole experience ! ;(

It could just mean this person is a moose who likes to poke fun at you. Not everyone who teases you fancy's you. I can understand the whole teasing/flirting when your in a group situation but to be all serious and quiet with you when no-one else is around is a bit odd

a guy in my class used to talk about me behind my back when i was in yr 10/11. he used to call me names behind my back and draw exaggerated awful pics and used 2 call me names 2 my face!! i dont think that means he liked me! hated me and bullied me yes!

Exactly - if everyone who teased me fancied me, secondary school would have been a hell of a lot more fun. They might just be strange. They might like you, they might not. The fact they don't talk when you're alone with them is also a bit odd.

anon as people who know me might guess why im asking this lol.

When you're together are they shy or just serious? I'd be inclined to say they fancy you (especially if, as I am assuming, you're a girl!)
