Actions have consequences.
Humiliation probably stops them from doing the crime again

Good way to save taxpayer money instead of buying them clothes. Its a shame that we waste so much money on treating them like kings here in the UK

Better than doing what we do in the UK, we spend a lot on giving them computer lessons, TVs, squeaky clean toilets, comfy beds and other things that make their lives indistinguishable from middle class, hard working, law abiding Brits. Strip them and make them do hard labour 16 hours a day.

- They're in prison for knowingly doing wrong. Being imprisoned entails a loss of dignity.
- They were stripped to facilitate a search for contraband - a large amount of which was found and siezed. It was a successful operation.

This is all about Duterte. He's learned nothing from the US experience with trying to fight drugs as a war. You can't win like that because frankly - people want to take drugs. He can execute thousands of people and suspend all sorts of human rights - and he still won't win.

If you're going to take away someone else's rights, prepare to have yours taken away.

Could not care less. The real question is what crime did these fellas do to land in prison in the first place

Seeing as it was to make a big drugs shakedown a lot easier that's all fair enough I suppose. Taking photos of it all was a bit weird.
